SkillSphere is a community-oriented project maintained by Liran Azran (the “maintainer”) to help developers and creators showcase their work and discover projects. By using SkillSphere, you agree to these short terms.
1.Who Can Use SkillSphere
You must be at least 13 years old to use SkillSphere. If you are under 18, please use the service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, not impersonate anyone else, and take responsibility for activity on your account.
2.Your Content
You keep ownership of everything you post. By uploading or publishing content, you give SkillSphere a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, store, display, and technically process that content only as needed to operate the service and show your work according to your settings.
Please only post content you have the right to share. Do not upload secrets, credentials, confidential employer material, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
3.GitHub Integration
SkillSphere may connect to GitHub in two separate ways: a sign-in connection that reads basic public profile information, and an optional GitHub App that grants read-only access to repositories you choose to import. The maintainer does not write to or modify your repositories. You can disconnect either integration at any time from settings or directly through GitHub.
4.Acceptable Use
Please do not:
- Use SkillSphere for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Post hateful, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, sexually explicit, or infringing content.
- Misrepresent your identity, skills, or project authorship.
- Upload malware or files designed to harm other users or the platform.
- Try to break, overload, scrape, or exploit the service.
- Send spam or unsolicited promotions to other users.
5.Reporting, Removal, and Account Closure
If content on SkillSphere infringes your rights or violates these terms, email Liran.azr90@gmail.com with a description of the content, where it appears, and your contact details.
The maintainer may remove content, limit access, or close accounts when reasonable to protect users, comply with the law, or address violations of these terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting the maintainer.
6.Privacy
SkillSphere collects only the personal data needed to operate the service: account details you provide, content you publish, and basic technical logs. The platform relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) and Vercel (hosting), which process data on the maintainer’s behalf.
Public profiles, projects, and comments are visible to other users and may appear in search engines. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting the maintainer.
7.No Paid Services
As of the date above, SkillSphere does not offer paid services. If paid features are added in the future, the price, billing, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before any purchase and will apply in addition to these terms.
8.Intellectual Property and Early Access
The SkillSphere name, design, code, and non-user content belong to the maintainer or the relevant rights holders. Using the service does not give you permission to copy or redistribute those materials except as clearly allowed.
SkillSphere is an early-stage community project. Features may change, break, or be removed. Please keep your own copies of anything important — do not treat SkillSphere as a backup service.
9.Disclaimers and Liability
SkillSphere is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Nothing in these terms limits or waives rights that cannot be waived under Israeli consumer protection law, the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, or other applicable mandatory law.
10.Governing Law, Updates, and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, subject to mandatory consumer rules that may apply where you live.
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves; the date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
